At the Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung announced its two premium foldable smartphones along with Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Galaxy Watch 5 smartwatch. What’s new with the Galaxy Z Flip 4
Samsung’s new premium Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable smartphone flaunts a 6.7-inches Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support. The main screen support 1080 X 2640 pixel resolutions and has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on top. The Z Flip’s 4 cover screen is also getting new additions. You can also call it a secondary display with the help of that you will be able to make phone calls, take shots from the outer display, and send quick replies to text messages. In terms of design, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 design hasn’t changed all that much. The hinge is slightly smaller and has a glossier finish than the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor based on 4nm architecture paired with Adreno GPU, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android 12 based on ONE UI out of the box.
Galaxy Z Flip 4 houses a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. Samsung claims that the smartphone charges 0 to 50 percent in just 30 minutes. The device also supports fast Wireless charging 2.0 and Wireless Powershare. The Z Flip 4’s battery capacity is also getting increased to 3,700mAh compared to its predecessor’s 3,300mAh battery. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G, WiFi-6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB type C port for charging and data transfer.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, IPX8 water resistance rating, a new Flex Cam feature (which allows users to capture shots and video hands-free by standing the phone up on a surface), and a quick shot feature. The handset weighs just 187 grams and the hinge is now smaller at 1.2mm.

The Price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone starts at $999. The smartphone will be available in four color options including Graphite, Blue, Pink Gold, and Bora Purple, and has three variant options- 8GB +128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 512GB. The smartphone is now currently available for Pre-order and will be available for purchase from August 26.
