Samsung officially releases the Galaxy TabPro S Windows 10 tablet in Canada

Microsoft’s Surface line of hybrid tablets has been wildly successful, and it’s no wonder why. Mixing together the efficiency of laptops and the portability of tablets, the idea of a 2-in-1 has brought in a great many imitators in the past few years. Today, Samsung is releasing their own Windows 10 powered 2-in-1 to capitalize on the trend, the Galaxy TabPro S, in Canada.

Here are some of the specifications:

  • 12-inch AMOLED display
  • Intel Core m3 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 128GB  SSD

The computer is powerful enough for the purposes of most consumers and is going to be sold at Samsung Experience retailers and most other major electronics stores in Canada. The tablet has been around in the US for a few months, and you can read some of our thoughts here.

The included keyboard cover offers dual-angle viewing and connects via Pogo pins.

At $1,399, Samsung’s 2-in-1 is similar in bang-for-your-buck value when compared to the Surface devices that inspired it. People who are choosing which device they go with may just make their decision based on how visually pleasing the devices are, as the Galaxy TabPro S is designed much differently than the Surface.
