Germany’s leading telecom operator O2 will offer a sweet discount on the purchase of Lumia 930 smartphones. O2 is reportedly making the handset available for €519 which is lower than the expected €599 retail price.
The handset is already available for pre-orders in Germany, along with several other nations including France and Italy, but we are yet to learn when it will start shipping. The phone was previously expected to hit retailers this month, but is now speculated to arrive on July 10.
The delay might have an adverse effect on the sales of Windows Phone 8.1 handsets, as many other decent and comparatively lower priced devices running on better processors — including HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5 have already been selling in the market.
