We reported yesterday that Facebook finally released the production version of its app for Windows 10 Mobile, providing the first official, first-party version for Microsoft’s latest mobile platform. With that accomplished, Microsoft decided that their own app is no longer necessary.

Accordingly, the Redmond company shut down their own version. If you try to run Microsoft’s app, you’ll be faced with the following:

Of course, there’s no reason to run Microsoft’s app when there’s an official Facebook version except for some possible performance advantages. Nevertheless, you’re faced with no choice but to download the Facebook app from the link below.
