Do you live in the UK and want to purchase a Lumia device but also make some money while doing so? If so, Microsoft’s UK Store has quite the offer for you.
Residents of the UK who already own a Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL can now get up to £100 gift cards if they can get other individuals to buy either device. The program is part of the Lumia Rewards Offer, which encourages Lumia 950 and 950 XL owners to recommend their Lumia 950 or 950 XL to their friends. The Lumia Rewards program starts on February 16, 2016 and lasts until March 16, 2016, or as long as the rewards are available.
The terms of the program are below:
The recommender can earn up to two promotional gift cards when two of the friends buy new Lumia phones and claim the reward through the Lumia Offers app by entering the recommender’s qualifying referral email address on the claim page.
The friend who bought a new Lumia 950 or 950 XL and claimed the promotional gift card, can continue as a recommender and get a second promotional gift card if they get one of their friends to buy a Lumia 950 or 950 XL.
The Lumia devices for the promotion must have been purchased from an authorized Lumia seller in the United Kingdom. Returned or refurbished phones, or Lumia phones purchased from an individual person are not eligible for the offer.
After 3-4 weeks from activing your Lumia, if you’re opted in to receive marketing messages from Microsoft, you’ll receive an invitation email encouraging you to recommend the Lumia 950 or 950 XL to your friends. You can then recommend online or in person, but you must be sure to direct your friends to the program’s landing page URL, and your email address to which Microsoft send you the email. You can also register directly from the Lumia Offers app on your Lumia 950 or 950 XL.
Once the friend who bought a new Lumia 950 or 950 XL phone has successfully claimed their promotional gift card via the Lumia Offers App using a qualifying referral email address in the Lumia Offers app, Microsoft will send an email with the promotional gift card code to both the recommender and their friend with instructions on how to use it in the Microsoft Store.
