Razer announces new Thresher Ultimate headsets for Xbox One, PC, PS4

The next generation of Razer’s high quality headsets are coming in July with a high price tag to match. The Razer Thresher Ultimate Headset is a wireless Dolby 7.1 surround sound device built for universal gaming with two models for major consoles: PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Both of which will be compatible for PC as well for a pretty price tag of $249 USD (via Polygon.)

Today’s press release announces that the Thresher Ultimate Headset is built as the “most reliable and best-sounding wireless console headsets ever made”, according to Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan. Along with the standard noise isolation and high quality sound, it features cooling-gel infused ear cushions and can remain connected with a 40 foot range. Here are the specifications:
