Pride And Prejudice And Zombies is now available to watch digitally via the Movies & TV app (or Films & TV app in some regions) on Xbox One, Windows 10 PCs, and Windows phones running Windows 10 Mobile or through the Xbox Video app on older devices.
The movie comes out at the end of the month on Blu-ray and DVD so this is a good opportunity to watch it for those that aren’t interested in accumulating lots of plastic in their living rooms. Here’s the film’s wacky description:
A zombie outbreak has fallen upon the land in this reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England. Feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet (Lily James) is a master of martial arts and weaponry and the handsome Mr. Darcy (Sam Riley) is a fierce zombie killer, yet the epitome of upper class prejudice. As the zombie outbreak intensifies, they must swallow their pride and join forces on the blood-soaked battlefield in order to conquer the undead once and for all.
Digital copies of Pride And Prejudice And Zombies also come with the bonus featurette, Preparing for Battle, which explores the film’s fight sequences.
Microsoft’s Movies & TV service continues to update with new media for its growing library, such as the new seasons of Outlander and Black Sails, as well as improvements to its Windows 10 app. A recent update added a revamped control layout for media transport, new skip forward and skip backwards buttons to the interface, new estimated download times for purchased TV shows and movies, and the ability to delete media off of each connected Windows PC or mobile.
