The wait for high end Windows 10 Mobile devices has either ended or is at least wrapping up. While the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL had some early bumps in the road, they have improved as the OS has received updates and are solid devices. Additionally, devices from many OEMs such as Acer’s Jade Primo and HP’s Elite x3 are on the way. That’s not to mention the swirling rumors of a Surface Phone that may come out at some point.
All that being said, there are still some high end phone makers that don’t make Windows 10 Mobile devices. This week’s poll asks which current Android phone you would most like to run Windows 10 Mobile.
Some of these are more likely than others. For example, the Xiaomi Mi4 can be flashed to run Windows 10 Mobile so it’s not impossible that its newer sibling could. HTC made the HTC One M8 for Windows but didn’t continue to make Windows variants when that line moved on.
In contrast, the Nexus seems almost impossible, which is a shame because it has great reviews. It’s hard to believe that the company (Google) that won’t release a YouTube app for Windows would allow a Nexus that runs Windows 10 Mobile.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella spoke on having other OEMs make Windows 10 Mobile devices and we’ve seen that gain momentum recently. Let us know which of these devices you wish could run Windows 10 Mobile and tune into the WinBeta Podcast this weekend to hear us discuss the results and our thoughts.
