Last month, we reported that Twitter had plans underway to integrate podcasts as a part of their newly redesigned Spaces Tab. During this announcement, the new feature had already been rolled out but only to select users.

Yesterday, Twitter announced that the feature is now available to Twitter Blue subscribers with iOS devices via Twitter Blue Labs. They further indicated that it will be rolling out to Android users soon.

With the podcast integration, users will now have access to podcasts, audio stations, and Spaces audio by testing the feature through Twitter Blue Labs. Through the revamped Spaces tab, users will also have access to a variety of podcasts that they can listen to right from the platform. Users will also be able to curate their listening experiences on the platform by either liking or disliking content that appears on their feed which will in turn affect the recommendations they get.

What’s more, the podcasts under the newly revamped Spaces tab will be categorized under various themes, that is, News, Music, Sports, and others. Join Twitter Blue where you will be able to gain early access to select new features on Twitter, including podcasts at $4.99 per month.
