Path for Windows Phone

If you happen to be a regular user of Path or Nextgen Reader, today is your lucky day as both app received updates, mostly focusing on squashing bugs.

Starting with Nextgen Reader, which is one of my favorite RSS reader apps for Windows/Windows Phone devices at the moment. The app received an update, bumping it to version 6.1.814.0 and brings a few new features as well as performance improvements.

Do note this is for users running the Windows Phone 8.1 as its operating system. Along with the usual performance improvements, the app update now gives users the ability to save articles to a specific section in OneNote. Here’s a complete change log for Nextgen Reader for Windows Phone:

  • New: Save article to a particular section in OneNote (tap the three dots next to OneNote in share menu).
  • New: Change default save location for OneNote (go to app settings -> accounts -> OneNote).
  • Small performance improvements.

Secondly, the social networking app Path also received an update, bumping it to version v2.2.0.2541. The latest update adds premium filters to the app, as well as improved filter performance and bug fixes.

Head over to the Windows Phone Store to grab the updated apps.
