The Microsoft Surface Book is probably the best Windows device the software giant has ever created, boasting solid design, an interesting keyboard, and a built-in NVIDIA graphics card.

Unfortunately, the Surface Book costs an arm and another arm. But not to worry, Microsoft decided to give consumers a discount on the 128GB model with the Intel Core i5 processor — but only for those in Education. This deal is to celebrate the Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The 128GB model Surface Book with Intel Core i5 usually cost $1,499 to own, but right now you can get it with a $300 discount. Not to be left out, the 128GB Surface Pro 4 with Intel Core m3 inside can be had with a discount of $150 from its $899 original price.

Pretty sweet deal, right? It is for sure, but sadly, only those in education can take advantage of it. Bear in mind, there are other deals on the Microsoft Store right now for those in education, so if the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 is beyond your meager pocket, we’re sure you’ll find something you’ll like.

The Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 is more than solid buy right now seeing as both machines received 18 updates from the recent Windows 10 Anniversary Update.

The discounted Surface Book can be bought here, while the Surface Pro 4 can be had here.
