Ori and the Will of the Wisps video game updates with enhancements for Xbox Series X|S consoles

Brad Stephenson

The hit Xbox video game, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, received an update this past week that added a host of special features and added functionality that will unlock when it’s played on Microsoft’s new Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.

Among the added highlights are support for the primary 4K HDR visuals/locked 120 FPS gameplay mode on the Xbox Series X and 1080p HDR/120 FPS mode for the Xbox Series S though the optional secondary modes for each new console are impressive as well.

Owners of the lower end Xbox Series S will be able to switch to a 4K/60FPS mode if they prefer visuals over gameplay while Xbox Series X console owners will gain access to a 6K Supersampled mode with 60FPS and outputs in 4K HDR.
