Earlier this week, some Windows 10 users complained of an issue in the Windows 10 May 2019 Update where screenshots would turn out with an orange hue. Many presumed it was a problem introduced with the KB4512941 cumulative update, but, turns out that the issue was linked to Lenovo Advantage and has now officially been marked as resolved by Microsoft.

As a solution to the problem, Microsoft is recommending for impacted users to visit the Lenovo advantage app and tweak their settings. Apparently, this orange screenshot issue was caused by the Eye Care mode feature of Lenovo Advantage. There is no need to update Windows for the problem, and instead, users should disable Eye Care mode and reset the color temperature in Lenovo Vantage.

In Lenovo Vantage 4, this can be accomplished by going to Hardware Settings, clicking Audio/Visual, and then turning off Eye Care Mode and click on the Reset button. With the Lenovo Vantage version 10, users should go to My Device Settings click to Display & Camera and then click on the reset button for Daytime Color Temperature. Users should also turn off Eye Care Mode, and uncheck the box titled Schedule eye-care mode.
