Official Reddit apps released for iOS and Android, Windows phones left out

Reddit, the popular social forum where just about anything and everything is discussed using all sorts of language and imagery, hasn’t been big on developing their own apps in the past. Today, however, they released apps for iOS and Android after purchasing the popular Alien Blue client last year (via CNET).

That raised the obvious question, would they be producing an official app for Windows 10 Mobile? And of course, that question was asked on Reddit itself, where the answer was rather simple.

Reddit user pokemanzred: Are there plans for a Windows mobile app?

Reddit (ggAlex): No.

While we’d love to think that every developer will see the light and support Windows 10 Mobile, clearly that’s not yet the case. There are, though a number of Reddit clients that will run on Microsoft’s OS (PC and mobile, in many cases), and we’ve linked to a few below.
