Official app of Twitter-owned Vine arrives on Xbox One for Live members in 34 countries

As promised back in June, Microsoft has been adding several apps to the Xbox One entertainment console. The latest addition is the official app for Vine, the Twitter-owned social network for sharing videos. Although, the app is only available to Xbox Live members.

That’s right, you are no longer required to use your computer or mobile handsets to enjoy the funny, artistic, creative, and quirky videos available on the social platform. Starting today, users living in around 34 countries will be able to download the official app of Vine and enjoy the looping videos on the big screen. The app supports voice and gesture control (via the Kinect), enabling you to play, pause, and search channels, as well as view playlists. Users can also enjoy the most popular vines through specialized channels.
