Office Mobile apps updated with new features for Insiders on Windows 10

Microsoft has released a feature update (17.7466) for Office Mobile apps for Windows 10 devices including tablet and phone. The updated apps – OneNote, Word Mobile, Excel Mobile, and PowerPoint Mobile – are now available for download from the Microsoft Store for Office Insiders on the Slow ring.

You can join the Office Insider Program if you have an Office 365 subscription, and if you’ve opted for the Windows Insider Program.

The latest update 17.7466 allows you to add or remove chart elements like titles, data labels, or legends. In your Office Mobile apps. This feature requires an Office 365 subscription though. In Word Mobile, you can now edit your charts and change chart type, layout, color, or chart style. In OneNote, you can give your tables a makeover by adding colorful shadings to cells, rows, or columns to make them easier to read.

With the latest update, OneNote finally includes the ability to share an individual page without sharing the whole notebook anymore. You can send a viewing link to a single page of your choice and let others see it in a browser without the need for an app or to sign-in.

If you wish to share your feedback (because that’s what the Insider program is all about!), click File > Feedback in any of the Office Mobile apps and follow the steps.
