Microsoft has just released minor updates for its Office apps on iOS devices. The 1.21 versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint add support for additional cloud collaboration solutions Egnyte and Learnium. If you're not familiar with them, Egnyte is an enterprise file sharing solution while Learnium describes itself as "a social network designed specifically for learning and teaching."
Both additions will give users more flexibility for storing and accessing their Office files from iPhones and iPads. Furthermore, the version 1.21 of Powerpoint also introduces a new feature for your slides that contain a video that has closed captions or multiple audio tracks--it's now possible to play these tracks in your slideshow.
Since Microsoft previously introduced its Cloud Storage Partner Program in February 2015, the company had already integrated its Office iOS apps with popular cloud storage solutions such as Dropbox and Box and we'll see if the company will continue to bring other cloud storage partners in the coming months.
