Office for iOS gets updated on iPhone, Outlook for iOS adds new languages

| |

Microsoft's Office team remains busy pushing new versions of their apps to virtually every platform, from Office 2016 on Windows and Mac to Office Mobile running on Windows 10, iOS, and Android. As usual, the team is particularly busy on iOS, where they've pushed a couple of smaller updates to Office for the iPhone and Outlook for iOS.

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for iOS all received the same update, with the following changelog item for version 1.20:

Edit with speed! Have quick access to the commands when you work with shapes and graphics. (iPhone only)

Also, Outlook for iOS received an update to version 2.2.5, primarily with additional language support and support for opening .eml files:

Mmrëdita!

That's "Hello" in Albanian. As in, "Hello, we've translated the app to Albanian".

Gjashtëdhjetë e tre.

That's 63 in Albanian. 63 like the number of languages we now support in Outlook for iOS.

Can't find yours? Let us know through our in-app support and we'll add it to our list.

PS: we've also added support for .eml format. Emails attached to other emails? So meta, we just couldn't resist.

That's all, folks. Head to the App Store and hit the Update All button, or download the apps from the links below.
