Office Apps for Android updated, including major size reductions

It’s been over a year since Microsoft released the Office apps for competing platforms, including Android and iOS. The apps have received their fair share of success, and Microsoft gave them due attention by releasing timely updates to fix bugs and enhance the Office apps.

If you’re an avid Office user on your Android device, head over to the Google Play Store as they have received another update. All three Office apps now comply with Android for Work, and brings support for Android Marshmallow for enterprise. If you don’t know what Android for Work is, it’s basically enterprise-focused, separating business and personal apps and offers users improved privacy.

The new update also simplifies the sign process and give users the ability to download their favorite fonts from the cloud. There are some app specific changes introduced as well, such as reduced app size for Word and Excel to make the app faster and more stable.
