Outlook Groups, which Office 365 customers can already manage from Outlook on the web, Outlook for Windows and the dedicated app mobile app will soon become more accessible on other platforms. The Office team has just announced that Groups are currently rolling out to Outlook for Mac, iOS and Android, and all users who have joined or been added to a group should see them in the different apps in the coming weeks.
Here are all the Outlook Groups features you can expect to see in your Outlook app:
- View your group list.
- Read and reply to group conversations.
- Add group events to your personal calendar.
- View unread messages sent to the group.
- View group details within the group card (Outlook for iOS and Android only).
If you’re wondering what will happen with the dedicated Outlook Groups app for iOS and Android, the Office team explained that it “will still be available while we continue to enhance Groups experiences in Outlook, such as adding support for group files, calendar and notebooks.” Lastly, the team announced that it’s also working on “the best way to integrate Groups in Outlook for Windows 10 Mobile,” which is nice to hear.
