Over the last decade, the mobile phone industry has changed considerably and a new “mobile Internet” has gained the attention of consumers and telecommunication companies.

The increasing smartphone competition and sinking market share of Symbian may compel Nokia to make a choice between Google’s Android Operating System or Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7. By adopting a Operating system for its mobile devices, Nokia can regain its lost market share in the smartphone space.
