Nokia unveiled their first tablet last year, which hit retail in the UK and was exclusively available from John Lewis. It seems the exclusivity has ended in the UK as Carphone Warehouse has started taking pre-orders of the tablet for £399 for the SIM-free, WiFi and 4G LTE version of the tablet. It’s not just the tablet, the folks at Carphone Warehouse have made the deal even sweeter by throwing in a free Power Keyboard worth £99. Great, isn’t it?
For £399, you’d get your hands on a 10.1-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The tablet is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC with a clock speed of 2.2GHz with 2GB of RAM on board. On the storage side, the tablet comes with 32GB of storage with expandable storage of up to 64GB via microSD card. On the rear, it boasts a 6.7MP PureView camera for photos and videos, as well as Windows RT 8.1 as its operating system. To make sure there’s enough juice for the tablet, it features a massive 8,120 mAh battery. If you find this deal interesting, head over to Carphone Warehouse website below, and place your order.
My colleague Mark Wilson reviewed the Nokia Lumia 2520, outlining all the positive and negative points of the tablet so make sure you take a look at it.
