UK businesses are being encourage to take Windows Phone for a test drive a Nokia launches a new programme that provides access to handsets on a free trial basis. There are only 200 trial packs available so only a limited number of qualifying business will be able to take part, but each free pack includes a Nokia Lumia 925, a Lumia 625 and a Lumia 520.
The campaign enables companies to see how Windows Phone and Lumia devices can help with business, and the handsets are provided on a 30 day trial. The signup page points out that “Each phone seamlessly integrates with Microsoft including SharePoint, Lync, SkyDrive, Outlook & Office. You also have essential business apps at your fingertips.”
In order to qualify, businesses must have 100 or more employees, and participants are advised that they must allow Nokia to “use any quotes, survey information and data gained from your participation in the trial for promotional purposes that are deemed relevant to the trial you have signed up to.”
For companies who are currently using iOS or Android devices, the #LumiaBizTrial campaign offers a cost-free way to find out whether Windows Phone is a more suitable platform.
