NFL Mobile, Tapatalk, and Yammer apps for Windows Phone 8 receive new updates

For those of you who use the Tapatalk, NFL Mobile, or Yammer apps for Windows Phone 8, you are in for a treat with some new app updates. Available now in the Windows Phone Store, these app updates address bugs, improve performance, and even add some new features.

“As the brand new, redesigned and rebuilt official app of the NFL, NFL Mobile is built to bring football right to your Windows phone! Receive Breaking news, Video highlights, Live game scores, Custom Team News, manage your Fantasy Football Team, and more,” the NFL Mobile app description reads. No word on exactly what was updated in this build, but we are shooting for the typical bug fixes and performance improvements.

The Tapatalk app was bumped to version and features the app in English, Arabic, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian languages. On top of that, posting with attachments no longer brings up an error message.

“Tapatalk aggregates content from network of communities of common interests, from automotive to parenting, from gardening to horse-riding – You will meet passionate people who share the same interest and participate in great discussions on topic only you and the like-minded members truly appreciated,” the Tapatalk app description reads.

The Yammer app has been bumped to version 1.7 and features the ability to join or leave a group. The opening of Office and PDF files using the phone’s built-in apps has also been fixed. The update also provides improvements to accessibility and design, along with bug fixes for push notifications.

“Yammer is the best-in-class enterprise social network [from Microsoft] that makes your job easier and more productive. It brings together employees, content, conversation, and business data in a single convenient location, keeping you connected to the people and information you need to get work done,” the Yammer app description reads.
