Tomb Raider, the cult classic action-adventure celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this month with the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration on the Xbox One and Playstation 4. The popular franchise has been enjoying a well-deserved return into the spotlight following a critically-acclaimed reboot in 2013, which probably makes all fans of the series wonder what’s coming next.

But while Rise of the Tomb Raider publisher Square Enix Europe has yet to announce an eventual sequel, a Reddit user nicknamed Tripleh280 spotted someone working on a what looks to be a presentation about a “Shadow of The Tomb Raider” game (via Kotaku):

You can distinguish the title at the top right of the document.

While the above picture is a bit blurry, sources told our colleagues over at Kotaku that this could indeed be the name of the name of the next Tomb Raider episode. Speaking to Kotaku, the Reddit user explained that “the page he was on talked about visuals. I’m from Montreal, QC. I was going downtown for work and I took a quick snap. I really would love to say more but other than the title, the rest was blurry from where I was.”

The fact that confidential information about the next Tomb Raider game may have been spotted in a Montreal subway is quite surprising considering that the two previous Tomb Raider games have been developed by Crystal Dynamics, a California-based studio. However, Kotaku has been hearing that Eidos Montreal, the studio who created the multiplayer mode of the Tomb Raider reboot could be developing the next episode. The Canadian studio is also a subsidiary of Square Enix Europe, the publisher of the last two Tomb Raider games, who declined to comment.
