343 Industries shared a bit more details yesterday about the next Insider flight for Halo: MCC planned for next week. The Halo developer previously teased “a new way to play” in a previous blog post from last week, and this will actually be the Custom Game Browser that has been in the works for quite some time.

This new Custom Game Browser will give Halo: MCC players a lot more flexibility when creating matches, and you can see a screenshot of the new feature below.

In addition to the new Custom Game Browser, 343 Industries aims to test various next features in the next Halo: MCC Insider flight including FOV slider and mouse & keyboard support on Xbox consoles, advanced audio options, as well as a new map for Halo 3 coming from the community-created Halo Online game.

343 Industries also used yesterday’s Community update to announce that there will be no new updates for Halo Wars 2, the RTS game released on Xbox One and PC back in 2017. The team also has no plans for a new Halo Wars game at the time, as it’s currently focused on future Halo: MCC updates and the upcoming release of Halo Infinite in Fall 2021.
