As we approach the launch of the new Xbox One entertainment console, new advertisements are beginning to appear hyping the November 22nd release date. In a new TV commercial, Microsoft shows off the Xbox One’s voice controls and instant switching features.
In the video, we see a man on the couch watching TV. Immediately, when his girlfriend walks into the room, the Xbox One recognizes her and displays a little icon on the screen indicating such. “Xbox, show my stuff” she says. Instantly, the Xbox One switches over to the woman’s dashboard, much to the dismay of the boyfriend. “Xbox, go to Dead Rising 3,” she says. Again, within an instant, the woman is playing her game.
For the purposes of humor, the woman also says “boyfriend, get me a beer” and “boyfriend, go to the store” in which the boyfriend listens. Unfortunately in real life these commands won’t work as advertised.
“Games and entertainment get personal as Xbox One showcases instant recognition, and how you can switch from watching TV to playing a game in an instant,” the video description reads. We’ve embedded the video below for your viewing pleasure. Check it out!
Microsoft also rolled out another Xbox One TV commercial showcasing how easy it is to play a game while watching TV side-by-side. Check out this commercial below.Further reading: Microsoft, Xbox One
