Microsoft has uploaded a new video to its Surface YouTube channel, offering us a thirty second TV commercial that showcases all the new and exciting features with the Surface 2. This video is a huge step forward from the previous advertisements we have been accustomed to with the Surface RT and Surface Pro.
This video is short but highlights some of the key new features of the Surface 2, including the kickstand, backlit keyboard cover, and the fact that the device is now lighter and faster than before. There are no dances or beat boxing in this video, and since this video is pretty short and to the point, expect to see it on TV soon.
“The new Surface is thinner, lighter and much more than a tablet. With an available click-in keyboard and Microsoft Office, you can multi-task like a pro,” the video description reads. Consumers can pre-order the Surface 2 and Surface Pro 2 at Microsoft Stores and BestBuy. The Surface 2 will be available on October 22nd and starts at $449. There is a 32GB model and a 64GB model. The Surface Pro 2 starts at $899. The Surface Pro 2 comes in a variety of configurations, including 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, and also 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with 8GB of RAM.
