New trailer and release date revealed for upcoming Xbox One game, Yesterday Origins

Gamescom is officially underway, and it is proving to be a busy time for publishers to show off their latest digital creations. One of these publishers, Microïds, has taken the event as a chance to unveil a new trailer for their upcoming game, Yesterday Origins (via NextOnGaming.)

The main protagonists in Yesterday Origins are John Yesterday and his partner Pauline. The two are immortal and own an antique store in Paris, and the game sends them across the globe through multiple periods. The storyline takes place during the current and medieval times and happens through a series of flashbacks.

Yesterday Origins features over 25 characters and an impressive original score. The game also features a graphic novel style look but is enhanced by modern visual effects.
