The specs of Microsoft’s upcoming Surface Pro or Surface Laptop have been reportedly leaked online via GeekBench results (spotted via Windows Latest). The most interesting part of these supposed Geekbench results is the fact that the device in question comes with a tenth generation Intel Core i5 “Ice Lake” processor, or more accurately the Intel Core i5-1035G1.

The device listed in the Geekbench results is titled “OEMJL OEMJL Product Name EV1.5A”. This codename is similar to that of the specs of the supposed Surface Go with the Intel Core m3 processor.

Even so, these leaks should only be taken with a grain of salt. There’s nothing else to go on, and no way to prove the legitimacy of the results. However if they do end up being true, the devices could be something that might deserve a serious look.

Even so, all of the rumors should soon be put to rest as Microsoft is expected to unveil their new devices at the their media event on October 2. Other rumors mention USB type-C replacing the Surface Connect port and a potential LTE variant of the Surface Pro 7, which could see a Snapdragon 8cx processor.
