New screenshot reveals pre-installed Windows 8 Consumer Preview apps

A new screenshot has been leaked onto the internet today of what appears to reveal the apps that are going to come pre-installed with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, unlike the developer preview that came with demo games and apps, the Consumer Preview will come with essential apps like Mail, Photo’s and more!

A new screenshot, which was leaked on the MyDigitalLife forums, has revealed some of the pre-installed apps that are expected to launch with the Windows 8 Consumer Preview. Currently, the apps you will receive pre-installed are the usual, essential apps such as Mail, Photos, and Calendar. The preview will also come bundled with some social apps such as the ‘People’ app, as well as a SkyDrive app.

It is still weeks before the Windows Consumer Preview is released, so this app list could change at any time. Remember to take this screenshot with a grain of salt, as it could be a fake.

Microsoft is preparing to launch the Consumer Preview of the next generation of Windows, Microsoft has given the face of Windows a complete overhaul to welcome the market of Tablets. The Consumer Preview is set to launch at the end of February.
