Posters are old school. The way of the future is animated posters. At least that’s the case if you follow news surrounding Halo 5: Guardians. The newest animated posters is included in an Xbox post and features the new arrival, Spartan Locke and his team, and the old MC Master Chief and his comrades facing off. Below you can see the animated poster.
We’ve already seen Master Chief and Spartan Locke in Youtube videos, television ads, and an audio series but this animated poster shows off their respective teammates by their sides as well. Both main characters appear to have teams with three members other than themselves.
The official release date is October 27, 2015 and the game is generating buzz. If you haven’t seen any of the advertisemts, the long in short is that Master Chief is fighting Spartan Locke and we as viewers don’t yet know who is on the right side. The hashtag #HUNTtheTRUTH is being promoted by Xbox.
Advertisers are smart and know that to reach people and create buzz they have to diversify their outreach. Having such a variety of advertisements will get the idea of Halo 5: Guardians in the minds of consumers. We’ll have to wait until later this year to see if they’ve gained Xbox traction when it comes to sales.
