Microsoft is apparently testing out a new design on Bing search engine with a simplistic navigation bar and circular icons, as spotted by Neowin. Furthermore, the settings wheel is now a wireframe icon with a few changes to fonts, making it easier to read and interact with.
One thing to note here is that the new design language is not available for all users, and is merely in a testing phase. It's showing the new interface on some accounts, while others still see the old Bing search layout, including us. We tried on different accounts but were treated with the same old Bing design. The new design is available on the search pages, and are yet to make an appearance on the homepage.
Microsoft has adopted a new design for most of its products and services with Windows 10 just around the corner. Microsoft is set to launch Windows 10 later this week with an aim to make sure the operating system in running on over a billion devices over the next few years.
