Panasonic has announced their new ultra-rugged laptop, the Toughbook 31, with an extremely durable build and running the Windows 10 operating system.

Interestingly, the new model will come with optional 4G LTE-Advanced and GPS connectivity, and will also some with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 256 GB solid state drive. It also comes with in either Core i5 or Core i7 variants, and can be configured with  more than a day of battery life with an optional second battery that can be inserted into the media bay.

The Toughbook 31 is primarily targeted towards multiple industries including police, military, construction, and manufacturing industries where a laptop could easily be destroyed in their kinds of work. The new machine is expected to be released for $3,699 in December.
