If you’re a fan of both NBA and Olympic basketball, then you might be pretty happy with NBA2K17. Come September 20th, the next installment of the hit NBA 2K title will include this year’s Olympic team, and the classic 1992 USA Basketball Dream Team.
The fact that the title will include both the Dream Team and the Olympic Basketball team is no small feat. According to Polygon, the inclusions mean that 2K Sports had to license USA Basketball’s symbols, and reach a deal to do a full head and body scan of head coach Mike Krzyzewski. Nonetheless, it is still pretty cool to see NBA players and both classic and present Olympic athletes alongside each other in the same game.
It is worth noting, however, that The Dream Team is only a pre-order bonus for those who have already secured their chances at getting the game on time. For now, and until the game launches on September 20th, you can get your basketball fix by tuning into the Rio Olympic games on the NBC family of networks starting August 5th.
You can pre-order NBA2K16:
For the Xbox One, or
For the Xbox 360,
and get your game on 4 days early, on September 16th.
