Earlier today, we mentioned that Microsoft would be rolling out an update to the Movies & TV app for Windows 10. That update is now live in the Windows Store, so head on over and snag it! This update is only for Windows 10 desktopĀ and features several new improvements, including sharper thumbnails in the personal video gallery, the ability to sort by date added, personalized recommendations, better ‘download error’ messages, and other minor tweaks and refinements.Ā For those curious, here is the changelog for versionĀ 3.6.1694.0:

  • Sharper thumbnails in the personal video gallery
  • “Date added” sort added to personal video gallery
  • Personalized recommendations in the movie and TV galleries
  • Better download error messages for low disk space
  • Metadata now fades out when you pause a video
