As part of a promotional marketing campaign for the now-delayed Halo Infinite, Monster Energy is currently offering free digital copies of Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One to US consumers who register at www.Monster-Halo.com. The offer will be available while supplies last, with a current limit of 1 code per person.

Back in August, Microsoft announced a global partnership with Monster Energy to promote the launch of Halo Infinite, which has now been delayed to 2021. Still, consumers who purchase limited-edition Monster Energy Halo Infinite cans will be able to get 30-minute Double XP Boosts per can for use in Halo Infinite multiplayer, and all cans also include a Snapcode for unlocking exclusive in-game weapon coatings.

While Halo Infinite still has no release date, this new promotion is a good opportunity to revisit Halo 5: Guardians on Xbox One. The game was released back in 2015 on the console, and it’s part of a new trilogy that’s expected to conclude with Halo Infinite next year. Microsoft announced earlier this week that Halo: The Master Chief Collection would be enhanced for its upcoming Xbox Series X|S consoles, with 120 FPS support for the Campaign and Multiplayer modes. We don’t yet if Halo 5 will get similar next-gen enhancements, but the game previously received a 4K patch for the Xbox One X.
