For the past month or two, there has been a mysterious bug concerning the Windows 10 People app on both PC and mobile that’s been causing the random deletion of contact photos. It was affecting both public users and Windows Insiders (those who test preview build of the Windows 10 operating system and apps) and there appeared to be no rhyme or reason behind it.
During the last 48 hours though, the bug appears to have been fixed and images are once again populating the app. There has been no official announcement from Microsoft about the update that appears to have been done on the server side however plenty of users have begun to notice the fix on their devices, myself included.
