Microsoft's upcoming Cityman and Talkman flagship phones to be branded Lumia 950XL and Lumia 950

There has been much speculation around the recent flagship phone renders from Microsoft. Some have called them Lumia 940XL and Lumia 940. However, serial leaker Evan Blass has confirmed that they are in fact going to be called Lumia 950XL (Cityman) and Lumia 950 (Talkman). While Evan isn’t an official Microsoft spokesman, his leaks are invariably accurate.

In case you missed the specs, both will have a 20MP rear camera but the Lumia 950XL will be Phablet sized at 5.7 inches and contain a Snapdragon 810 Octa core with 3GB of Ram and 32GB of internal storage with a MicroSD slot. In a recent poll here on WinBeta, many of our readers preferred this to its brother the Lumia 950. That device will be a standard phone than a Phablet and has very similar specs to the 950XL but with a Snapdragon 808 Hexa-core and it’s smaller at just 5.2 inches.
Windows phone users have had very little options in the last year when it comes to brand new flagship phones so these devices will be a welcome addition to the Windows phone family.
