The feature had been recently tested with Insiders but now Live Tiles are available to all Microsoft To-Do users on Windows 10 PCs and tablets or Windows 10 Mobile smartphones.
Live Tiles are a very useful feature that allow an app icon on the Windows 10 Start Menu (or Screen) to update and display information. In Microsoft To-Do’s case, the Live Tile will display list items created under the My Day category (see below image).
Also with today’s update, Microsoft To-Do will now sync in the background which means that users will no longer have to wait for data to update after opening the app on a device.
