Earlier this year, the Indian-born Satya Nadella became the third CEO of the software giant Microsoft. According to a new report, Nadella will visit India later this month, making it his first visit to his home country after he took the charge at Microsoft.
The report further mentions that Nadella will be a part of two events organized in Delhi by Nasscom which will take place on September 30th — that’s the same day when Microsoft is expected to take the wraps off its next generation desktop operating system, Windows 9 (Threshold).
One of the events will focus on startups and another one on digital. He’ll also participate in another event which focuses on a main issue of lack of women participation in technology. He’s also expected to pay a visit to him hometown Hyderabad during his stay at India.
“We can confirm Satya will be traveling in India and other countries later this month. Beyond that, we do not have further details to share,” a Microsoft spokesperson told WinBeta.
