The month of January 2014 has come to a close and it is now time to take a look at how well Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser is doing in terms of market share. Last month, we saw Internet Explorer 11 skyrocket in market share, from 3.27% to 10.01%. As of January, IE11 now commands 11.51% of the Internet Explorer market share.

While IE11 has dethroned IE10 from the second place spot with its 11.51% share, IE8 remains the top Internet Explorer browser with a 21.25% share. The market share difference between IE10 and IE11 is 9.28% and 11.51%, respectively. Mozilla’s Firefox 26 comes in second place, when compared to Internet Explorer and Chrome, with a 13.42% share.
