Microsoft’s Fresh Paint app for Windows Phone 8 receives minor update
Microsoft recently launched the Fresh Paint app for Windows Phone 8, alongside its counterpart on Windows 8. Microsoft has been working hard to deliver the highest quality, most realistic painting and drawing experience possible with the Fresh Paint app.
Today, Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Fresh Paint app, bringing the build number to 2.0.3303.1. Not much is known in this update, as Microsoft has yet to publish a change log. However, we’d venture a guess that bugs were squashed and performance enhancements were made.
In the previous update, Microsoft added a new pencil mode, a new Inspire Me option, new photo filters, revamped user interface, and more. The Windows Phone 8 app is now much more consistent with its Windows 8 counterpart. Microsoft also recently added a “Save To” icon that lets you save drawings to SkyDrive and subsequently finish your project on your Windows 8 PC.
