Announced at IFA earlier this month, Microsoft’s “affordable flagship” handset complete with 10 MP of PureView goodness is set to arrive in Canada soon. Unfortunately, there are no details on pricing and availability — at least not yet.
The Lumia 830 features a 5-inch 1280 X 720 display, a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core SnapDragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB storage, a 10MP PureView camera with a 0.9 MP front facing companion, built in wireless charging, and includes LTE by default. The device also feature changeable back covers that come in bright green, bright orange, black, and white variants.
It also comes with Windows Phone 8.1, as well as the Lumia Denim update, complete with a localized version of Cortana. No word on how much the device will run for and which carrier will have it. Either way, if you are in Canada and are looking for a new Windows Phone, you can keep an eye out for the Lumia 830. We’ll let you know when it becomes available as well as other pertinent information about the device.
