Microsoft’s Xbox and Bethesda E3 games showcase just ended, but there’s one big announcement that the company saved for the very last second. While the focus were the 30 new games, 27 of which are coming to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft says you’ll soon be able to buy an Xbox Mini Fridge of your own.

Microsoft did not share a specific release date, but you can see the Xbox One X mini-fridge in action above in the trailer. The company introduced it by teasing the fridge as “a new system that leaves others cold.” You can see how the fridge opens up to expose the green inside and the “Xbox Velocity Cooling Architecture.”

If you may recall, the Xbox mini-fridge was a bit of a gag when the Series X console was first revealed, with people saying it looks just like a fridge. Microsoft followed up by handing out free Xbox mini-fridges to influencers as a joke, but now you’ll be able to have one in your hands soon.

The company built up to this moment by urging people to vote in the BestOfTweets Brand Campaign and help Xbox win to bring one into production. Now it’s finally happening. We hope that the fridge remains affordable, though, as not everyone has $500 to spend on such a gag gift. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
