Windows 10 build 10240

Gabe Aul has taken to Twitter to reiterate Microsoft’s plan to allow new Windows Insiders to register for the Insider program after Windows 10 reaches RTM (release to manufacturing) on July 29. According to Gabe, Microsoft does indeed plan on allowing new Insiders to get preview builds even if they registered for an account on or after July 29.

If you’ve run into issues recently trying to register an Insider in order to try Windows 10 for the first time, fear not. Microsoft has gotten rid of downloading Windows Insider Preview ISOs temporarily, as the Windows 10 team gears up for the Windows 10 release. You’ll still be able to get into the Windows Insider program after July 29.

Do you plan on continuing to be a Windows Insider and receive new builds even after Windows 10 reaches RTM? Let us know what you’ll be doing in the comments below.
