Microsoft has unveiled several new features for its Whiteboard app, including a new highlighter tool and Sticky Note & ink colors. The company recently announced on Twitter that these features are rolling out to Whiteboard experience in Teams, Android, and on the web.

With sticky notes, users can now change the color and texture through the toolbar or a right-click. In addition, it is now possible to change pen thickness and color, which should make it easier for users to emphasize parts of text within the content. Finally, Whiteboard has added a new highlighter tool with 15 new colors and additional thicknesses options. The software giant said these features are also coming soon to Whiteboard for Windows 10 and iOS.

In other news, Microsoft has announced on the Microsoft 365 Admin Center that it’s changing the storage location for the Whiteboard app from Azure to OneDrive for Business in October 2021. This change will apply to whiteboards created in Microsoft Teams and the Whiteboard stand-alone applications. The firm says that it will address various content management, governance, and compliance issues for thousands of organizations worldwide.
