Microsoft wants your feedback for Windows 8 in new Windows Feedback program
Microsoft is inviting customers to apply for the newly created Windows Feedback Program, which allows for customers to provide valuable and direct feedback about Microsoft’s products, especially the new Windows 8 operating system.
“The Windows Feedback Program was created for us to enlist the help of customers who want to be more actively involved providing direct feedback to us,” Microsoft stated in a new blog post on the Windows Experience Blog. The program is invite only and only for US customers. Microsoft is hoping to receive sign-ups from customers who are running Windows 7 or Windows 8 Consumer Preview so the company can “build better software by getting a broader understanding of your perceptions and experiences with our products.” The program consists of filling out surveys or by installing a special client that collects data on your PC. Those that participate for over 4 months might receive free software and Xbox games such as Microsoft Office 2010, Kinect Disneyland, and Forza Motorsport 4. What are you waiting for?
