Microsoft updates Office for Mac Slow Ring Insiders, adds PDF hyperlinks and enhanced accessibility

| |

Update 15.29 of Office for Mac has launched, offering those Mac users who still want the Office experience a few more features. The update isn't huge, but it brings a couple of requested features and tweaks that users are going to get a bit of use out of.

  • Accessibility built right in: We've improved support for using your keyboard, VoiceOver, and other assistive technology to read and edit documents, worksheets, and presentations.
  • Hyperlinks in PDF files: In Word, retain your document fidelity, with working hyperlinks, when converting documents to PDF.

If your automatic update setting hasn't kicked in yet and you want to update as soon as possible, you can do so by navigating to Help > Check for Updates >  Check for Updates. There, the new version will be made available for you.
