Microsoft has just announced a pretty good deal for educators and students in the U.K., a 30% discount on Surface 3 Education bundles from now until March 31st. As an extra motivator, any Surface 3 Education bundle purchased before February 1st will come with a new Surface Pro 4 pen. The Surface Pro 4 pen is an improved redesign of the previous model with improved pen tracking and more functionality.
While Microsoft has released follow ups to the Surface 3 like the Surface Pro 3, Surface 4, Surface Pro 4, and the super powerful Surface Book, the Surface 3 is still a legitimate choice for consumers and is more than enough for the casual or even high-end educational environment (I’m still rocking my first-gen Surface Pro for example).
